As the new year begins, many are concerned, confused and worried about Covid. Some are reluctant to seek needed dental care. We are taking a proactive approach to prevent this. We purchased an extraoral high volume suction unit to remove, HEPA filter, and disinfect the surroundings when we perform any aerosol-generating procedures such as cleanings and using the drill. This is in addition to our HEPA air purifiers throughout the office. Patients also can rinse with a Covid-killing antimicrobial for 30 seconds before procedures, in order to reduce oral pathogens including the virus. In addition to the N-95 respirator masks, infection control, temperature assessment, social distancing and covid screening, your visits will be extraordinarily safe and worry-free.
