We are fine and hope all of you are well and safe. Currently we are required to remain closed (except for emergencies), but the day is coming when we shall reopen. Our office has instituted additional infection control measures and are following all guidelines of the state, CDC, Department of Health, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Acquista has fabricated a custom-fitted mask frame to filter air like a respirator mask, and is stocked with all necessary supplies. We want to assure you that your and our safety always comes first. You may have questions, and we encourage you to call or email them to us at
smilebayridge@gmail.com, and they will be answered. First, we want to say that any of you who have a fever, dry cough, or do not feel well should contact your Physicians. We will not allow in our office, or treat, any symptomatic patients until at least two weeks after they have recovered. We want to limit our office to treating one patient at a time, so we would urge you to contact us at your appointment time to confirm that our last patient has left, and the entire office has been sanitized. If some of you want to see only the Doctor, that can be arranged. Since infection control items are in short supply, we encourage you to have all necessary dental treatment completed in one visit (if possible). This minimizes your trips to the office, and maximizes our utilization and conservation of supplies. Since we anticipate that many of you will need appointments to make up for lost time and delays in planned treatments, we encourage you to call us so that we can reserve appointment times for you in advance. We will be calling everyone who was scheduled or is due to return regardless. We look forward to seeing you soon.
